The Clean Slate / Chemical Free

We are either stark loyalists when it comes to the soap we use, or we love experimenting with a plethora of soaps ranging from bars to liquid. Afterall, the market offers us such an extensive range, it’s hard not to try them all. Wherever you lie on the soap spectrum, the endless debate of Bar vs Liquid is one to consider. So let’s see what either has to offer and what benefits might a liquid body wash have over a traditional soap bar.

An apple a day keeps the doctor away, unless of course it's ridden with nasty pesticides and insecticides, then it pretty much does the opposite. Your everyday fruits and vegetables come a long way to reach you, and in the process of growing, harvesting and transporting, it is exposed to a number of toxins and chemicals. These are harmful things and chances are just water won’t wash it all away that easily.

Now that our Work From Home Desk is our go-to place where we spend hours and hours, skipping from Zoom calls to back-breaking typing to maybe even a meal or two. Our table is a world of its own. So, keeping your sanctuary clean probably the best way to go. 

It is a spectacular habit to soak or wash your produce before you eat, because washing does remove a considerable amount of toxins from your fruits and veggies, especially when done with cold water. However, with such complex & concentrated chemical pesticides being used in large-scale agriculture today, is cleaning with just plain water a safe bet? Probably not. 

More is better -  when it comes to extra fries, maybe. But your laundry detergent? Absolutely not. Chances we are already using more than what we need to anyway. Not only are we washing away the dirt down the drain but also our money. 

Cleaning is our forte and bringing the best of cleaning products and hacks for our fellow cleaners is what we do day in and day out. For starters, we understand your love for all things spick and span along with the pain and frustration that comes with this love (phew!). We also understand the sheer satisfaction of finding that perfect cleaning product that seems to be the answer to most of your woes.

Washing your hands is the first step towards infection prevention, we all know that too well by now. Soaps are one of the most efficient ways of removing pathogens from our hands, not just Covid-19 but a range of dangerous things that can be harmful for our health. 

Being environmentally cautious is the need of the hour, it is an idea we are much too familiar with but often have trouble knowing where to start. With hordes of plastic mounting up in landfills and choking the earth, it’s not simply enough to acknowledge it but to actually do something about it.

Over the course of the past year, it’s safe to say, our relationship with our homes has changed profoundly (albeit not by choice). Your house became your everything - your office, your little one’s school, your gym, your restaurant, your studio - you name it. But of course, your pets were the real winners in all of this.

With the pandemic looming over our heads, we are starting to look back at those tiny things we never thought required proper cleaning. Besides, these ‘unprecedented’ times – yes, we are just as tired of hearing that – have indeed made us dependent on one such tiny thing - our mobiles!

Let’s face it, washing water bottles is often a once-a-week affair in most Indian households. Our excuse? “But it’s just water no.”  Nope, it really really isn’t. It’s the perfect home for our good old bacterial friends, so it is no surprise that they need daily cleaning.
